Coat the chicken evenly with curry powder, paprika powder, garam masala, garlic powder, salt, and AJINOMOTO® Chicken Powder and let it marinate for approximately 2 hours.
Soak the basmati rice in plain water for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a saucepan, sauté the shallots, garlic, cardamom, and cloves until cooked and fragrant. Then add the marinated chicken and cook until it changes color. Then add the water and yogurt. Stir well.
Once cooked, reduce the heat and add the basmati rice. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, until the basmati is cooked through.
